Candidates who are not citizens of India can also apply for the JEE (Advanced) examinations. Candidates who are NOT citizens of India at the time of registering for JEE (Advanced) 2015 (by birth or naturalized) are treated as foreign nationals. Seats allotted to foreign nationals are supernumerary. Its important to note that all IIT Institutes may not have supernumerary seats. The announcement of the availability of supernumerary seats is generally made at the time of seat allocation.
