- If the candidate would like to get admission into the B. Arch. (Architecture) course then the candidate must appear for the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) which is also organized along with the other JEE (Advanced) Examinations. The candidate who have got an all India / category rank in JEE (Advanced) will be eligible to appear for AAT.
- The B. Arch program is available only at IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee. While filling the forms the candidates can choose any of the preferred institutes.
- Similar to the way candidates register online at the JEE (Advanced) online portal in the same manner they can register for Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT).
- AAT is conducted only at the seven zonal IITs.
- The test consists of one paper of three hours duration.
- The candidates will have option to answer the question paper for AAT only in English language.
- The original admit card of JEE (Advanced) should be produced in the AAT examination hall. No separate admit card is issued for AAT.
- Candidates should bring their own drawing and colouring aids not stationery will be provided in the examination hall.
- The Joint Implementation Committee of JEE (Advanced) 2015 will decide the cut-off marks for passing AAT.
- Results of AAT will be declared in a similar fashion as declared for JEE (Advanced on the online portal.
- If the candidate secures marks more than the cut off then the candidate will be considered as have passed the test. No category wise cut off system is applicable in this paper.
- Allotment of seat will be solely based on the category-wise All India Rank in the JEE (Advanced).
