Q. Dhanu has the longest jump of 3 metres 40 cm. Gurjeet is second. His jump is 20 cm less than Dhanu’s. Gopi comes third. His jump is only 5 cm less than Gurjeet’s jump.

Ans.Gurjeet’s long jump = Dhanu’s long jump -20 cm
= 3 m 40 cm -20 cm

Ans.Distance covered in 1 round= 400 m
Distance vovered in 8 rounds = 8 x 400 m = 3200m
