Robinson Crusoe was a sailor who was shipwrecked. He spent many years all alone, on an island. Every morning, he went out with his gun. He had no one to talk except his pets, a dog and a parrot. He longed for company. From the top of the hill he could see some islands far out in the sea. He wondered if some people lived there .But he did not know how to got there. Finally he decided to make a boat out of the trunk of a tree. It took a very long time but he succeeded in making his boat. Finally he began to plan for a long journey around the island.
