(vi) It is a remarkable example of the skill of the Indian craftsmen.

The Silappadikaram

(i)It is a famous Tamil epic composed by Ilango about 1800 years ago.

(ii)It is a story of a merchant named Kovalam in Puhar.

(iv) The king sentenced Kovalam to death.

(v) Kannagi was full of grief and anger and destroyed the entire city of Madurai.
