कवि ने गाँव को 'हरता जन मन' इसलिए कहा है क्योंकि उसकी शोभा अनुपम है। चारों तरफ़ हरियाली के कारण धरती प्रसन्न है। गाँव का प्राकृतिक सौंदर्य सभी के मन को छूता है।

उत्तर
कविता में वसंत ऋतु के सौंदर्य का वर्णन है। इसी ऋतु में सरसों के पीले फूल खिलते हैं और चारो ओर हरियाली होती है।
Question 3. गाँव को 'मरकत डिब्बे सा खुला' क्यों कहा गया है ?
उत्तर
'मरकत' 'पन्ना' नामक रत्न को कहते हैं। जिसका रंग हरा होता है। मरकत के खुले डिब्बे से सब कुछ साफ़-साफ़ दिखता है। मरकत के हरे रंग की तुलना गाँव की हरियाली से की गई है। गाँव का वातावरण भी मरकत के खुले डिब्बे के समान हरा भरा तथा खुला-खुला सा लगता है। इसलिए गाँव को 'मरकत डिब्बे सा खुला' कहा गया है।
