7. A magnet is quickly moved in the direction indicated by an arrow between two coils C1 and C2 as shown in the figure. What will be the direction of induced current in each coil as seen from the magnet? Justify your answer..

10.(a) An em wave is travelling in a medium with a velocity. Draw a sketch showing the propagation of the em wave, indicating the direction of the oscillating electric and magnetic fields.
(b) How are the electric and magnetic fields related to velocity of the em wave?
 
11.Two concentric metallic spherical shells of radii R and 2R are given charges Q1 and Q2 respectively. The surface charge densities on the outer surfaces of the shells are equal. Determine the ratio Q1 : Q2.
 
12. What is meant by term ‘modulation’? Draw a block diagram of a simple modulator for obtaining an AM signal.
