This year’s holiday assignment has been designed keeping this goal in mind. Read the novel “Wise and Otherwise” by Sudha Murthy and get swayed by the wry humor and touching moments in the novel to which you can easily relate.

Question. The students will create a Magazine. (use A4 size coloured sheets)

• Instructions:

1. You will collect experiences based on those given in the novel. You may also choose real life experiences similar to those given in the novel.

For example- there are incidents in the novel where in the author is moved by the honesty, humility, wisdom, positive thinking of the person or was perturbed by the corruption etc . You are free to choose any other such incident that influences you in the novel.

2. There should be minimum of 2 and maximum 3 pages to the Magazine.

3. Try and fit in as many anecdotes as you can in the given space. Each story that you include in your magazine must have a proper title.

4. You can also make your magazine attractive by inserting relevant pictures, quotations etc.

5. You will design a relevant cover and name for your magazine.
