1 The average human being requires nearly 12-15 times more air than food. So even small amount of pollutants in air becomes significant compared to similar level in food. Pollutants
can be degradable like discarded vegetables and non degradable like DDT, plastic materials, heavy metals ,nuclear wastes etc .Mrs. Sharma puts domestic wastes in municipal corporation of Delhi (MCD) dustbins. She puts biodegradable wastes in one dustbin and recyclable wastes in other dustbin. But Mrs.Verma throws away all types of wastes outside her house which create lot of problems for other residents.
i. Why MCD should separate biodegradable and non biodegradable wastes?
