Q.1. A pentagonal prism of base side 40 mm and height 40 mm, is resting on its pentagonal base on H.P. and a rectangular face nearer the observer, parallel to V.P. A square pyramid of base side 30 mm and height 50 mm, is resting centrally on it, with two of its base sides perpendicular to V.P. Draw the isometric projection of combination of these solids, keeping their common axis perpendicular to H.P. Draw the axis of both the solids and indicate the direction of viewing. Give all dimensions. (15 marks)

Q.2. A pentagonal pyramid of 30 mm base edges and 70 mm base axis, is resting on HP on one corner of its base so that its axis is inclined to the H.P. at 45° and is parallel to V.P. Draw its projection in first angle. (10 marks)                                                                                                                 OR

A right regular hexagonal pyramid, edge of base 25 mm and height 50 mm rests on one of its base edge on H.P. with its axis parallel to V.P. Draw the projections of the pyramid when its axis is inclined to the H.P. at 45° (10 marks)

Q.3. A circular plate of 15 mm diameter is held such that its plane is perpendicular to H.P. and inclined at 30° to the V.P. with its centre 30 mm above the H.P. and 20 mm in front of V.P. Draw its projections. (9 marks)

Q.4. A line AB is contained by a profile plane. Its end A is 45 mm in front of VP and 15 mm above HP, end B is 10 mm from VP and 50 mm from HP. Draw its projections and find out its True Length and inclination with HP and VP using trapezoid method. (9 marks)

Q.5. Draw to Scale 1:1 following views of a machine block given below :

i) Front View looking in the direction of arrow

ii) Top View

iii) Side View as viewed from the right. (15 marks)
