I personally feel that every child is unique in his / her own way.. Its to the teacher to put the childs creativity, ideas and thoughts in the right direction to obtain, maintain and sustain the interest in the subject. I like more of triggering the thoughts than the lecture method. I don't care if the child is able to write neatly or present his thoughts, i use my own way of judging the childs ability to take the concept.
