Notices issued by CBSE to Schools

Notices were issued by The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to 29 schools, in India for not complying with the rules of CBSE. On December 18 inspections were held in Delhi and then in Bengaluru (Karnataka) Patna (Bihar), Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh), Varanasi (U.P.), Ahmedabad (Gujarat) on 19th December 2024.

According to official notice, the CBSE did a comprehensive review of inspection reports and found a number of schools violating their affiliation conditions. The board has acted on this concern and sent show-cause notices to all 29 institutions. Each school was handed an inspection report of their school and asked to reply in thirty days.

Inspection concerns were as follows:
1. Non-attending Enrolments : This was where an administration was enrolling students and counting them as attendees even though that the student would not go to class;
2. Violation of CBSE norms for keeping institutions in compliance with academic and physical infrastructure standards.
