Important Alert for Schools and Students: Severe Air Pollution

The air quality in Delhi NCR has reached the highest alert level called "Stage-IV" or "Severe+." This happens when the Air Quality Index (AQI) crosses 450 making the air very harmful to health of students. To reduce air pollution and protect students strict rules have been introduced:

School Updates:
Schools may shift to online classes for students except for those in Classes 10 and 12 to ensure students health is not affected by the severe pollution. Students are advised to stay indoors as much as possible and avoid outdoor activities and wear masks. Schools and parents should take all necessary precautions to keep children safe and protect them from pollution.

Travel Restrictions:
Large trucks that are not carrying essential goods or services will not be allowed to enter Delhi but vehicles running on clean fuels like CNG, LNG, or electric and the latest BS-VI vehicles are allowed.

Work-from-Home Rules:
Offices, including government and private may ask half of their staff to work from home. This will help to reduce exposure to the polluted air and safeguard health.
