BITSAT Logical Reasoning

BITSAT Logical Reasoning: This subpart is designed to evaluate the applicant’s power of reasoning in verbal and nonverbal areas. This checks the candidate’s ability to think logically so that they can perceive the data accurately, understand the relationships correctly, figure out the missing numbers or words, and to apply rules to new and different contexts. These indicators are measured through performance on tasks like detecting missing links, following directions, classifying words, establishing sequences, and completing analogies. The 2 (Two) chapters studied in this sub part are:

  1. Verbal Reasoning: Analogy, Classification, Series Completion, Logical Deduction, Chart Logic.
  2. Nonverbal Reasoning: Pattern Perception, Figure Formation and Analysis, Paper Cutting, Figure Matrix, Rule Detection.
